Eat Your heart out

This piece was inspired heavily by how the mainstream media twists peoples views on how they see themselves.

this idea was based on the idea of butterflies natural behaviour in the wild, the average person thinks of a butterfly they think of a small beautiful insect flying against flowers, however in the wild they are savage scavengers, these small creatures will feast on rotting flesh if it has decayed enough to the point they can drink its fluids.

the heart is used to represent a person with body dysmorphia, their self worth and heart slowly decaying from this heartbreaking disease, being eaten up by the beautiful butterflies, acting as the media feeding into the condition slowly destroying the person in the process by eating them alive.

This piece was also written about by the BBC,

This piece was constructed from:

Real Lamb Heart

Common Jay butterflies

Fine Mica glitter
